3/29Aristocrats Backing Tracks/Transcriptions 3-Album Box Set Now Available!

Hello Aristocratic Faithful-

While we’re putting the finishing touches on our Asia/Australia tour, we thought we’d share news of a special deal our friends at JamTrackCentral have going for one week only. Guitarists will want to pay special attention here.

Basically, it’s this:

That’s right: They’re cutting the price practically in half for a very limited time.

These packages are put together with painstaking care and precision by the freakishly good transcribers at JTC, and the tab and notation (yes – complete tab and notation for every guitar note played on every album!) is proofed and approved by Guthrie himself. It’s the ultimate deep-dive into Guthrie’s playing, and any guitarist who takes it on will be richly rewarded.

The backing tracks are Bryan’s final bass and Marco’s final drums from the final mixes (in nearly every case…keep reading!), before mastering. So it’s interesting for bassists and drummers as well, as little rhythm section nuances are exposed that you may have missed on the original recordings. Plus, every once in a while, you’ll hear a special secret nugget that wasn’t on the final album.

Big news: We’ve got three more G3 (Joe Satriani / Steve Vai / The Aristocrats) dates this summer in Europe: GERMANY!

But that’s it. Six dates only, three in Italy and three in Germany. Here’s the very latest info!

Hello again! We thought that this was deserving of a separate, special announcement:

The Aristocrats will be touring Asia and Australia in September and October!

The details are still coming together, but here’s what we can tell you right now:

We had a great time touring Asia in 2014, and we’re really excited to be able to come back to places like Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. And we’re also thrilled to be reaching new places for the first time, like Australia, Nepal and…some more to be announced soon. :-)

2/24G3 Dates: Satriani, Vai…and THE ARISTOCRATS!

That’s quite a headline, right? :-)

It’s limited to a few dates in Italy right now, but it’s true: There will be some G3 dates this summer, and the 3 G’s will be Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and The Aristocrats. Why can’t a band be a G, right?

Needless to say, we’re psyched and grateful for the opportunity.

 The Aristocrats – G3 Concert Dates with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai
G3 Summer 2016

The Aristocrats (Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller and Marco Minnemann) are thrilled to announce that they will be joining Joe Satriani and Steve Vai for a number of G3 concert dates this summer. The highly-anticipated run will kick off in Italy on July 2nd 2016.

The band said: “We are all extremely excited and absolutely honored to be sharing the bill with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai for this run of G3 shows. We have a tremendous amount of respect for Joe and Steve as groundbreaking artists in the world of instrumental rock who continue to bring it year after year. It will be a special privilege to bring our subversive brew of Aristocratic musical mayhem to the G3 stage – and especially the G3 audience. Let the games begin!”

Bryan Beller and Marco Minnemann will be kept busy, as in addition to rocking out in their own band they will also form the rhythm section for Joe Satriani and the end of show G3 jam.

This comes directly on the heels of the conclusion of the two-part European leg of the “Tres Caballeros” tour. We had an incredible time on that run, playing 55 amazing shows from Finland to Malta, Spain to Greece, the U.K. to Israel, and everywhere in between. Thank you to everyone in Europe who made this tour such an unforgettable experience. We also meant to make the official announcement of our Asia/Australia tour for September and October at this time, but the G3 news broke hard and fast, so we’re focusing on that for this week. Four Japanese dates are confirmed, as is the Australia time block (early October). We’ll make a separate splash about that next week or so.
