3/03The Aristocrats To Tour Asia/Australia This Fall!

Hello again! We thought that this was deserving of a separate, special announcement:

The Aristocrats will be touring Asia and Australia in September and October!

The details are still coming together, but here’s what we can tell you right now:

Sept 5, 2016 – Fukuoka, JAPAN – Gate’s 7
Sept 6, 2016 – Osaka, JAPAN – BigCat
Sept 7, 2016 – Nagoya, JAPAN – The Bottom Line
Sept 8, 2016 – Kawasaki, JAPAN – Club Citta
Additionally in September, dates TBA: Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand + more
October 1-10: AUSTRALIA (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, exact dates TBA)

We had a great time touring Asia in 2014, and we’re really excited to be able to come back to places like Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. And we’re also thrilled to be reaching new places for the first time, like Australia, Nepal and…some more to be announced soon. :-)

2/24G3 Dates: Satriani, Vai…and THE ARISTOCRATS!

That’s quite a headline, right? :-)

It’s limited to a few dates in Italy right now, but it’s true: There will be some G3 dates this summer, and the 3 G’s will be Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and The Aristocrats. Why can’t a band be a G, right?

Needless to say, we’re psyched and grateful for the opportunity.

The Aristocrats – G3 Concert Dates with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai
G3 Summer 2016

The Aristocrats (Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller and Marco Minnemann) are thrilled to announce that they will be joining Joe Satriani and Steve Vai for a number of G3 concert dates this summer. The highly-anticipated run will kick off in Italy on July 2nd 2016.

The band said: “We are all extremely excited and absolutely honored to be sharing the bill with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai for this run of G3 shows. We have a tremendous amount of respect for Joe and Steve as groundbreaking artists in the world of instrumental rock who continue to bring it year after year. It will be a special privilege to bring our subversive brew of Aristocratic musical mayhem to the G3 stage – and especially the G3 audience. Let the games begin!”

Bryan Beller and Marco Minnemann will be kept busy, as in addition to rocking out in their own band they will also form the rhythm section for Joe Satriani and the end of show G3 jam.

This comes directly on the heels of the conclusion of the two-part European leg of the “Tres Caballeros” tour. We had an incredible time on that run, playing 55 amazing shows from Finland to Malta, Spain to Greece, the U.K. to Israel, and everywhere in between. Thank you to everyone in Europe who made this tour such an unforgettable experience. We also meant to make the official announcement of our Asia/Australia tour for September and October at this time, but the G3 news broke hard and fast, so we’re focusing on that for this week. If you’re still reading, consider this official bonus information: We’re touring Asia and Australia in September and October! Four Japanese dates are confirmed, as is the Australia time block (early October). We’ll make a separate splash about that next week or so.

11/04European Tour Coming Up – And Manchester UK Opening Act Contest!

We’re right on the doorstep of kicking off our European leg of the “Tres Cabelleros” tour! Be sure to check out the Tours page for all of the ticket links and details.

We also have this exciting announcement for all Manchester UK based musicians: We are offering a local band the opportunity to open for us at our show in Club Academy on December 15th. If you think you have what it takes then submit your electronic press kit to info@rjprmusic.com along with a few words describing why your band would be the perfect opener. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 8th November and we’ll announce the chosen band in mid-November.

If you know a band from Manchester that you think would be a great support act then feel free to share this news with them!

Dear Aristocratic Faithful-

Hello out there! While Marco and Bryan tour Europe with Joe Satriani, and Guthrie tours Asia doing clinics, the buildup for the “TRES CABALLEROS” EUROPE TOUR continues. It’s being split into two legs, before and after the winter holidays, and most of the dates are now in (with lots of Italy left to confirm in mid-February).

The first date is just over a month away. Our very prestigious team of medical experts from around the world has analyzed the situation and offered the following official advice on the matter: Get tickets now and tell your friends. :-)
