12/14Aristocrats U.S. West/Mexico Tour UPDATE: Las Vegas Show Added, Second Show In San Pedro CA Added!

We’ve made a couple of last-minute adjustments to The Aristocrats U.S. West/Mexico January 2014 Tour itinerary, and wanted to let you know right away. First off, Tijuana is out (sorry Baja Californians, but you can come catch us in San Diego!), but LAS VEGAS is in, our first show ever in that very unique city. And we’ve added a second show at Alvas Showroom in San Pedro…but it’s up to you to make that one happen for sure. Hello Aristocrats fans. It’s been too long, right? We agree. So consider this us getting back in touch, and with good news for fans who have been waiting to see the “Culture Clash” tour live for the first time – starting with the U.S. West, and our very first shows in Mexico!

Hey everyone – just a quick reminder to let you know that our very special limited edition double-vinyl version of Culture Clash is out and shipping NOW!

It’s a limited pressing of 1000 on 180-gram audiophile virgin vinyl, packaged in a deluxe gatefold polybagged jacket. It contains artwork exclusive to the packaging. And the folks who pre-ordered are getting it in the mail already.

We’ve been teasing this for long enough, but we wanted to make sure it was perfect. Now that they are, and we have them in hand, we’re proud to announce that we’re selling a very special limited edition double-vinyl version of Culture Clash.

As stated above, it’s a limited pressing of 1000 on 180-gram audiophile virgin vinyl, packaged in a deluxe gatefold polybagged jacket. It contains artwork exclusive to the packaging, and the very few folks who’ve heard the vinyl test pressings say it sounds huge. :-)

8/30U.S. Tour Complete – “Culture Clash” Vinyl Coming Very Soon!

The Aristocrats “Culture Clash” U.S. tour is now in the books, and it was a rousing, blowout success, exceeding all expectations we ever could have hoped for. There is no way we could possibly express enough gratitude to all the people who came out to see us across the eastern and midwestern U.S. We played a ton of cities we’ve never been to before, and every single time, fans came out and made us feel welcome. THANK YOU everyone!

It was all done in two cars with just five people – three band, two crew – and we hardcore DIY’d it across America, with our two-man crew overcoming sleep deprivation and other obstacles to make it all work. Here’s a shot of the entire touring entourage below (L to R): Chris Del Nostro (driver/stage tech), Bryan Beller, Marco Minnemann, Guthrie Govan, and Corey Madson (driver/merch). It was taken in Lockhart, TX, outside one of the most famous BBQ joints in the country, Smitty’s Market.

Meanwhile, we’re very close to launching the presale for the limited edition double-vinyl version of Culture Clash. Watch this space for news on that, as well as a full 2014 touring schedule, coming very soon. For now, thank you America, once again!

7/29The Aristocrats’ “Culture Clash” Hits #8 On Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart!

Hey all-

As you can see from the subject line, we’ve got some big news:

The Aristocrats’ brand new album Culture Clash cracked the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart Top 10 this week! The album hit #8 on that chart, and also debuted at #16 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.

Needless to say, we’re totally blown away, and frankly, a little shocked. We’re also a bit amused at being classified as any kind of “jazz”. :-)

But more than anything, we’re grateful to everyone who went out and bought the album, because that’s what made it happen. So, from the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU!

Meanwhile The Aristocrats U.S. Summer Tour is going incredibly well. Venues have been packed and there seems to be some real excitement out there. For our part, we’re just going to keep on touring and doing what we do.
